Andy Robertson told a Scotland media conference that there were no close contacts of John Fleck while the SFA were taking six of his team-mates out of contact with the rest of the squad.

Having administered the protocols all season long it seems that the SFA have been slow to act and conflicted when it came to dealing with the Scotland national team.

According to Steve Clarke, with no known medical qualifications, it is 99.5% certain that Fleck was infected before meeting up with his Scotland team-mates on Friday and flying to Spain.

After the positive test was announced Robertson was sent out to face the media.

I suppose the only lucky thing is, the two doctors, the performances, followed every protocol. It means that there are no close contacts, there are no other positive tests.

David Marshall, Grant Hanley, John McGinn, Che Adams, Stephen O’Donnell and Nathan Patterson won’t be involved against Holland tonight after VIDEO CELTS broke the news that they had been left out of the travelling squad with the SFA refusing to respond to my enquiry.

Overnight the SFA knew that six players had been left in Spain as well as Fleck but seemed to think that they could keep it all quiet.

With just eight substitutes available for the match against Holland tonight questions were bound to be asked, claiming that six players had been injured in training was never going to wash.

Published at 12.12 today, would have been earlier if I hadn’t been at the gym. SFA Comms team were emailed and texted in advance, they chose not to reply.
