After a six week amnesty Celtic’s Twitter account was back under attack from angry supporters.
Most have still to use their new Season Ticket while the wiser ones are hardly consoled by the fact that they aren’t subscribing £600 a year for wat appears to be the painful managed decline of the club.
Three years ago Callum McGregor had Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair, Stuart Armstrong and Kieran Tierney among his team-mates, last night the club captain seemed like a memorial to the good old days.
The first consequence of Champions League failure is the switch to Thursday’s and Sunday’s but this season that looks a stretch with a place in the group stage of the Europa League far from guaranteed.
No lessons have been learned from three successive Champions League failures, the fixtures come around at the same time with the same underprepared squad thrown to the fire.
It will be a new challenge for Dom McKay to take on, if he doesn’t tackle it with honesty then his tenure could very well be doomed while Peter Lawwell lurks around in the background.

Absolutely useless. No plan no idea and caught out again this season. Is it only the board at Celtic that don’t know when the season starts. I really don’t know how the people running our club are successful as their actions recently have been nothing short of disgraceful ???

Ahhh, the annual ‘we’re out the champions league because we didn’t bother our arse to prepare’ tweet.
Only this time with the added bonus of being strung along by Eddie Howe for 3 months, thrown into the mix.
Lovely.
