Celtic will have less than three days to prepare for fans attending Saturday’s friendly against West Ham.

Last night against Midtjylland 9,000 supporters were allowed to attend after 2,000 had watched Saturday’s friendly against Preston North End.

The decision ultimately rests with Glasgow City Council who have approved bigger percentage capacities at Ibrox and Hampden as they slowly allow fans back in.

On Sunday 12.750 fans will be allowed to watch Real Madrid at Ibrox with 17,000 permitted to attend the opening SPFL match six days later.

With no problems reported from last night’s game against Midtjylland Celtic should be looking at having around 20,000 at Saturday’s match against West Ham which would still be way under 50% of capacity.

No information has been released about the criteria used to work out the allowed capacities, tomorrow at Pittodrie 5,665 fans will be allowed to watch the UEFA Conference qualifier against Hacken of Sweden.
