Neil Lennon’s regular media appearances are starting to get on the nerves of Celtic supporters.
A year ago the Irishman had the opportunity to write history, to deliver something that no other boss in Scotland had achieved and fell miles short.
The list of debacles from last season is long and painful, picking out the five lowest points could easily deliver five different answers.
A Glasgow derby that failed to deliver a shot on goal, back-to-back 4-1 defeats from Sparta Prague, loan signings of Shane Duffy, Diego Laxalt and Jonjo Kenny, losing to two different Ross County managers and a second round Champions League home defeat to Ferencvaros could all feature.
Lennon and Peter Lawwell are jointly responsible for the mess that Ange Postecoglou and Dom McKay have inherited. A month in the door and they have to put a team on the park to face Midtjylland in Champions League qualifiers.
With no sign of a job in management Lennon is likely to be taking up more and more media work. Outsiders might be interested in his views on Celtic but for many fans it is all too recent and raw to listen and read the views of the man that got things badly, badly wrong.
Gosh… he’s like the guy who’s just been thrown out of the party and he’s still shouting in from the street. Go on home to bed, Neil. https://t.co/LCpgtcMxsM

Desperate to stay relevant.
Had a go at Griffiths, now trying to give advice to Ange.
Does he understand he’s not the manager anymore?

I supported Neil Lennon during his Celtic career as player and manager. However, he is ruining ang legacy by these infantile outbursts. https://t.co/M1mXe86kX7
