The new season started with a familiar sight at Firhill last night- James Tavernier lining up to take a penalty.
Just as he did in the defeat from St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup the Manchester United linked defender failed to find the net from 12 yards.
Last season Tav was an early contender for the Golden Boot as the penalties flowed Behind Closed Doors with some matches providing the former Wigan starlet with two penalties.
Cedric Itten did find the net in the 83rd minute to secure a 1-0 win in which the Scottish media were forced to watch online and pick up quotes from in-house channels.
