Tannadice was an explosion of sound and colour as Celtic crushed Dundee United 4-0 in the League Cup.
The home stands were thinly populated with large swatches of bright orange seats facing the Premier Sports cameras.
Underneath the gantry and to the goal at the left hand side Celtic fans were in full party mode.
Last season there was barely a moment of respite as a team with barely a striker struggled to win matches.
It was possession all the way as Celtic hung in there to clinch a title that was always, at best in the balance.
Now, twice within a week the away support has enjoyed four goal victories. Enjoy in the word, watching Celtic is enjoyable again. Not a chore, an exercise in wishful thinking.
By insisting on high quality arrivals Martin O’Neill- and Shaun Maloney- have got a recognisable Celtic side again.

The hard labour of last season has been replaced. On a weekly basis Celtic are putting on the agony, piling on the style.
The reaction from the fans has been incredible. They’ve got a team on the park that is easy to like with waves of support flowing towards the pitch.

It certainly made an impact.
About a decade ago a similar style of change emerged at Celtic Park.
The Green Brigade would start with ‘Come on you bhoys in green’.
The rest of the stadium would repeat it back.
It built up and built up. Eventually it merged to have most of the stadium singing.
Next up for the re-energised Celtic support is LASK on Wednesday night in a Champions League Play Off.
Every bit of backing will be needed from the supporters. O’Neill and Maloney are assured of it.
