Events of the last week have taken a huge toll on the Ibrox support.
If the Staunch Revolution crashes and burns it looks like some bears won’t be emotionally investing again.
The stats are mounting.
Derek McInnes is the third manager in a year. His stats of W0, D2, L2 wasn’t anticipated. It is worse than Russell Martin and Danny Rohl.
Martin, the vegan, Buddhist member of the Green Party took the Tribute Act through two rounds of Champions League qualifiers before being rumbled by Club Brugge.
McInnes has at best a 50-50 shout of reaching the UEFA Conference League.
Best of all 27 players have been signed under Andrew Cavenagh. McInnes is expecting 3-5 more before the transfer window closes.
IBROX MAN MEDIA IN THE CROSS-FIRE
David Edgar is one of the senior voices in Ibrox fan media. Heart & Hand is long established.
He has been charting failures across both clubs for 20 years. He can read all the signs.
The fabled 12 month cycle has been trashed.
Three managers a season could soon be the norm. Even some bears are waking up to the fact that they’ve bee duped since 2012.
Mind this? We’ve won 6 titles (and 13 trophies) since this tweet ???

Ibrox fan media outlets are struggling to stay on message.
The lure of a press room pass and a seat on the gantry is starting to dim.
Even the Gullible bears can see that fan media is being used to shield the owners from criticism.
Fans are on the brink with McInnes.
They could break if St Mirren win at Ibrox.
Jablonec are at worst a 50-50 shout to dump McInnes’ side out of the Conference League at the Play Off stage.
After next Thursday’s away leg McInnes returns to Pittodrie. Aberdeen are in a mess but the visit of the Tribute Act led by McInnes will stir a special reaction out of the home fans at Pittoddrie.
Often the case for retaining a manager is that there are no other obvious option to take over.
Some bears will howl for Graeme Souness and Steven Gerrard. Both of them are smart enough to flirt with the job before making their excuses.
Which leaves McInnes in charge until it all gets too much for him. Which looks a matter of days
Davie I think every one is all ready there. We’re not even out of august and I cant be arsed with it. So much so we’ve made plans for Sunday and wont be at the game.

That’s about where I am! Cannot watch another season that’s the same as the last few have been. Why are the same problems still there? After several changes in managers and players? Is it a culture in the dressing room or beyond? The fact it persists is hugely concerning

@ibroxrocks We were told that we would get leaders and players who would immediately join the starting lineup. But just like every other season, the recruitment is terrible, and now it’s just about signing as many players as possible and hoping for a miracle.

Said this on the group chat last night David. The club don’t deserve the fans. They’ve milked follow following for long enough with constant 1 step forward and 2 steps back. It’s far too expensive a hobby to be miserable over every week. We’re not far off a tipping point.

I’ve sat next to the same guys for years and we were all just accepting of the result last night, we all just joke now about coming to the games & how it’s a slog. Don’t really get angry at performances now but we are all talking about how we could be spending our money better

We all know how this ends. We will get didgeridoo’d at celtic park, Mcinnes will be given the boot, the Gillespie will say stuff about reviews n bs like that. Before concluding a 1 man shortlist for Steven Gerrard. Thats the ambition of our club btw. ?

What’s clear as day is this is not even a manager issue. This is much more deeply ingrained into the club. The people making the decisions aren’t just making poor decisions, they are making diabolically awful decisions. The fact of the matter is that we’re halfway through August,…

It’s delicious and hilarious in equal measure.
The default setting will always be Slippy..get Slippy back in, the last man to win summit.
By that logic the diet huns should be getting Tommy Walker back in 🙂
Imagine being lucky enough to be alive during these horrible times 🙂
Love that photo of McWinless in the managers chair – his sunbed pus is a darker shade than the mahogany panelling behind him!
What about big Murts….Andy ‘the syrup’ Halliday’s favourite stand in coacher guy ? Is the big gymnastic demon available to fill the void after the man with a tan gets pumped ? Sitting waiting on one more phone call from Ibroxland ! Have Plimsoles …will travel !
It might take a generation , but after 2012 we are almost there , the extent of this apathy is the first of a two part consequence of the dead club and their fans ; their sons and daughters will be Celtic supporters!
This has been a sloooooooow-motion train wreck at ibrox – ever since 2012.
…and it’s thoroughly deserved.
The ultimate karma would see the bears themselves running the train off the tracks – by simply “doing walking away”.
There will probably always be a sevco,
but it looks like it will never reach the [tainted] heights
of the original Rangers FC… ? 🙂
Blue on blue is always a delight to see or hear, long may it continue, espanoyalification is nearing completion the klanbase can’t escape it…TEE HEE
