Some Celtic fans are preparing to give Ange Postecoglou’s team an emotional send-off before Sunday’s Glasgow derby.

The Ibrox club have refused to give Celtic any tickets but the hoops squad will be well aware of the depth of support that they carry into the 12 noon kick-off.

Sunday will be Celtic’s second successive domestic game of the season with the fans having to watch through Sky Sports as they did for the SPFL opener at Tynecastle last month.

In 2018, after four successive Celtic wins at Ibrox Dave King decided to cut the away allocation at Ibrox from 7,000 down to 700, Celtic followed suit with the allocation for away fans.

Last season there were no fans at any of the five Glasgow derbies. The last time that there were fans at an Ibrox Glasgow derby Celtic won 2-0 with goals from Odsonne Edouard and Jonny Hayes.
