Celtic fans reacted with typical Glasgow humour to Kyogo Furuhashi taking a look around his adopted city.
Two weeks ago the striker was in quarantine in a London hotel, four goals later he has given the Celtic support fresh hope with wishful comparisons to Henrik Larsson and perhaps more realistically Gary Hooper.
Glasgow isn’t known for its Japanese community but there are a few Japanese restaurants around the city for Kyogo to enjoy some home comforts.
What the new bhoy will find is a growing Irish community in the city centre, every street seems to have an Irish pub or two where he can be assured of the warmest of welcomes.
After last night’s exploits and a day off Kyogo will be back in training tomorrow, preparing to face Hearts in front of another expectant home crowd.
Whether he’ll take on board some of the suggestions made on his tweet is another matter, Celtic’s dietary team might have some words of warning as Kyogo embraces the local culture, but not all of it.
