Jon Dahl Tomasson has taunted Sevco over their distressed finances.
In the year to 30 June 2020 the Ibrox club lost £15.9m despite an increased turnover of £59m.
With fans banned from attending matches last season the club were down on nine European ties while splashing out the best part of £10m on Kemar Roofe, Cedric Itten.
Losses are likely to be pushing towards £30m for last season with Malmo boss Tomason well aware of the strain on tomorrow’s opponents.

Question: “Do you think there’s more pressure on Malmo because you’re in the lead or rangers because they’re at home”
JDT: Don’t you think they need the champions league money? I think so. I think they need it. I think that’s a good answer isn’t it?
Question: You want to expand on that?
JDT: You’re all clever lads so you understand it
Ten years ago Malmo knocked the old Rangers club out of the Champions League qualifiers, by February the club was in administration with liquidation announced within a year of Ally McCoist’s side losing to the Swedish champions.
You have to say that Jon Dahl Tomasson is WAY OFF the mark here. Scottish football writers and journalists certainly aren’t all clever lads. https://t.co/pVOHfvuup0
