Celtic fans discovered a brand new striker and a hero at today’s 6-0 win over Dundee.
Kyogo Furuhashi put a smile back on the faces of supporters who’ve suffered so much misery since they cheered a 5-0 win at home to St Mirren in March 2020.
The 26-year-old from Japan put down a marker with his midweek goal away to Jablonec, today he took his game up a notch or two as Celtic went one better with a 6-0 win.

Kyogo showed the penalty box instinct of Gary Hooper alongside great movement and awareness as he linked up with a new set of team mates on a new continent.
His smile was broad and natural as he celebrated each goal, when he was replaced by Odsonne Edouard after scoring his third he was just as happy, thanking all of the substitutes and the backroom team on his big day.
It has been a long time since Moussa Dembele launched his Celtic career with a hat-trick in the September 2016 Glasgow derby. It is a high bench mark but Kyogo seems to have the attitude to match his ability to please Celtic supporters.
