Graham Spiers has jumped on the Daily Record story exposing the underside of Ibrox media partners Heart and Hand.
The former Herald reporter has regularly been the target for online attacks from Ibrox fans and now finds himself on the outside looking in as David Edgar, Mark Dingwall and others are given special access to Steven Gerrard.
It didn’t taken much to uncover the comments and attitudes of Edgar and Co which seems completely at odds with the message of Everyone, Anyone which the club launched to deflect away from two partial stadium closures by UEFA for racist activities.
After searching through their Twitter accounts the Daily Record are likely to turn to fan forums where they are likely to uncover even more extremists’ views and comments.
It seems that inviting ‘fan media’ inside Ibrox then charging all media for basic access is a policy rapidly back-firing on the club.
“Papes”, “tarriers”, “Romanists”, “beat rattlers”, “mongs”, “spazzies”…
Well this is pleasant, progressive stuff.
Well done Stewart Robertson.
Well done Rangers FC. https://t.co/K0YYEU4IYk— Graham Spiers (@GrahamSpiers) September 2, 2021
