With minimal prior warning The Celtic Trust have summoned up more than 100 shareholder signatures to table two motions for the 2021 AGM.
On Friday the Trust were informed that they had until 5pm on Friday to submit any motions to the AGM which was around a month earlier than had been anticipated going by the timeline of previous years.
An SOS was sent out across social media with the added complications of Tuesday being a right-off for many due to the travel involved for a 3.30pm kick-off for a European tie.
Thankfully all the obstacles were overcome with The Trust submitting their motions in time to be included in the AGM.
Much of the business from The Trust relates back to the period 2011/12 which the Celtic board of directors seem keen to avoid answering.
The issue of the UEFA licence given to Rangers who had an overdue payable at the time has never been addressed to the satisfaction of many while an answer given by Peter Lawwell at the 2019 AGM has also been taken to task.
Questions are also being asked about the independence of non-executive Directors who have been on board for a decade or more when five years is the recommended timespan to ensure good governance.
?? Against the odds, we have reached enough signed forms for both resolutions to make it to the Celtic PLC AGM this year.
Thanks everyone for all your help sharing and signing – now, we need to get the vote out for a strong fan voice! ??

The CEO hasn’t seen the 5 way agreement?
Dereliction of duty if he hasn’t.— Frankity Frank (@gIaikit) November 27, 2019
Then he should ask to see it, as it has affected the business, and it has affected sharegilders and customers
