John Beaton awarded an incredible 80th minute penalty to Sevco to allow the homeside to salvage a point against Aberdeen.
The Dons had raced into a two goal lead after 16 minutes with Cristian Ramirez and Scott Brown on the scoresheet.
In the 20th minute Beaton awarded the home side a soft free-kick with Alfredo Morelos knocking home James Tavernier’s delivery.
On a wave of emotion and anger the home side were expected to equalise but it took until the 80th minute to get back on level terms with Fashion Sakala hitting the deck in spectacular fashion with fresh air between the Ibrox star and Dons defender David Bates.
Beaton had no hesitation in pointing to the spot, Tav pen converted but despite five minutes of stoppage time there was no further scoring.
With fans back inside Ibrox Steven Gerrard’s side have drawn three of their last four home matches with their only win coming against 10 man Hibs.

Just watched this , fcking scandalous
They are sh*t and week in , week out , the officials are keeping them in it
Well big surprise the bigots get a pen from that cheating blue nose Beaton will get a nice pat on the back down at his orange Lodge just keep winning celtic and it will make no difference what the cheating c@nts refs do to help the bigots, again well done celtic and ange you have sure put a few noses out of joint as the old saying.
Once again when highlighted on sportscene Shelly(season ticket holder)Kerr and James (fuddy)McFadden agreed it was a pen but only after looking at it a few times and realising the BBC wouldn’t pay them if they didn’t agree. One of the worst decision I’ve seen.
All they have to do is dive and the referee will wink an eye.
The extra five minutes were extended as long as possible, given that the home side had not fully capitalised on their ‘free gift’. Buy One, Get One Free.
