‘Looking increasingly bad’ ‘Sad day’ ‘Warnock on his way I fear’ Heart & Hand podcast shares Ibrox despair

Despite their status as official media partners Heart & Hand podcast are being kept out of the loop as Steven Gerrard choreographs his move to Aston Villa.

‘No official approach, yet’ they tweeted hopefully while all around the wheels were in motion for Gerrard to become Dean Smith’s successor.

When the top football writers at The Telegraph reported last night that Gerrard was interested in the job Heart & Hand realised that this wasn’t a Timmy Wind-Up, their worst nightmare was underway.

At lunchtime today a video surfaced of Gerrard and his agent arriving in London, not the done thing for someone who spends his working week 240 miles north of his family in Glasgow.

Now with Birmingham Live! Reporting that the move has almost been completed Heart & Hand just has to wait on word of Gerrard’s successor and try to sell Derek McInnes/ Barry Ferguson/ Shelley Kerr to their subscribers.
