Tom Rogic and Carl Starfelt are racing against time to be available for next Saturday’s League Cup semi-final against St Johnstone.
Within four days of each other the two men picked up hamstring injuries but fortunately they seemed to be quickly identified and substituted.
The international break has reduced the number of matches that the duo will miss with Celtic’s medical team monitoring progress every day at Lennoxtown.
Without Starfelt and Rogic, Celtic won away to Ferencvaros and Dundee but with 12 matches coming up between November 20 and January 2 Postecoglou will need to dig deep into his squad.
