Shocked Ibrox fans turned on their heroes as they watched them crash to a 3-1 League Cup defeat from Hibs.
With thousands dressed in orange Giovanni van Bronckhorst was given a warm welcome as he watched from the comfy seats, firing into the hospitality at half-time rather than visiting the dressing room.
The early songs of hate were in full throttle when Hibs took the lead in the ninth minute when Martin Boyle scored from close range from a James Tavernier assist.
By the 38th minute Boyle had claimed the match ball, Scot Arfield pulled a goal back in the 40th minute but there was no second half siege on the Hibs goal.
The substitutions of Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo were booed by the Ibrox fans inside Hampden, serial losers Tavernier and Alfredo Morelos lasted the full 90 minutes while John Lundstrum and Nathan starlet Patterson sat watching from the bench.

A lot of positive noises from within the club since Gerrard left about an easy transition for our B team coaches and the players but actions speak louder than words. That was a shocking performance from a group of players unwilling/unable to give us a big reaction.
