Oli Morgan has confirmed his departure from Celtic to take up the role of Head of Academy Performance at Leicester City.
There is a fairly regular turnover of staff and coaches at Academy level with Morgan heavily involved in the conditioning and preparations of Celtic’ B team in the Lowland League.
Since Nick Hammond left his job as Head of Football Operations there doesn’t seem to be any obvious structure at Celtic with Michael Nicholson still having acting in front of his title of Chief Executive Officer.
You’ll be missed Ollie.! It was a pleasure ?

You’re welcome Ann Frances. I’ll be keeping an eye out for him.

After eight years at Liverpool Morgan joined Celtic in June 2019, a few months after Brendan Rodgers left to join Leicester City.
Owen Moffat’s promotion to the first team away to Ross County in midweek will be a satisfying farewell with the B team in action today at home to Bo’ness United in the Lowland League.
