Just short of a year from his last Celtic appearance Chris Jullien has posted an ‘I’m back’ message on his Instagram account.

At yesterday’s media conference Ange Postecoglou was unable to give any guidance on when he expects the Frenchman to return from knee surgery.

Around the same time that the Celtic boss was speaking Jullien was on social media adding an ‘I’m back’ on top of a brief clip of an American footballer.

The defender is fairly prolific and often cryptic with his use of social media, yesterday’s post could be related to the American footballer or it could be about himself.

As well as a new manager Jullien will find almost a whole new dressing room when he recovers his match fitness.

A year ago he was lining up with Kris Ajer and Shane Duffy but they have been replaced by Carl Starfelt and Cameron Carter-Vickers with Callum McGregor replacing Scott Brown as captain.

I wanted to ask you about Chris Jullien, obviously there has been quite a significant delay from when he was expected back so just an update if there is anything there?

Yeah, no, nothing really there, he’s still working hard. Obviously with a long term injury you’re going to get little setbacks at times, you need everything to run smoothly, it hasn’t done for Chris but he’s working in rehab, he’s out doing work with our medical team, with our sports science team and hopefully he’ll be back out there.
