The J-League has sent a good luck message to Celtic after three top players were whisked away to the SPFL.
Earlier this week Reo Hatake and Daizen Maeda were named in the international squad to face Uzbekistan on January 22 but they will now withdraw to stay on in Scotland along with Yosuke Ideguchi.
The summer arrivals of Ange Postecoglou and Kyogo Furuhashi certainly raised Celtic’s profile in Japan, with four former J-League players led by the ex boss of Yokohama Marinos that interest will intensify.
??????????? Best of luck to Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda, and Yosuke Ideguchi on your new journey with @CelticFC! ? #MadeInJLEAGUE https://t.co/ZoVfF2oyAf

When Shunsuke Nakamura was at Celtic there were around a dozen Japanese reports relocated to Glasgow to report on his every move.
With social media and news breaking 24/7 the focus has changed but if the three new arrivals get close to repeating the impact of Kyogo today won’t be the last time that Celtic go shopping in Japan.
I hope kyoko is not a one off I can’t believe those coming in are as good as kyoko if they are celtic may have hit motherload of new talent but why has nobody struck before I’m not building my hopes up I hope its not cause they can’t afford to shop in Europe if they are as good as kyoko brilliant angi we have faith in
Welcome to the new 3 Boys from Japan hope you all have a successful time with celtic snd to everyone have a happy and safe new year.
Looking forward to this cant wait
Maeda looks an absolute cracker. He is rapid and has the same work ethic as Kyogo.
