Tom Rogic signed off for 2021 with another sublime performance as Celtic defeated St Johnstone 3-1 in the final match of 2021.
The hoops started the year with a demoralising derby defeat at Ibrox but a much changed team signed off for an eventful 12 months with full points with a dozen first team players missing.
Fortunately Rogic has managed to play his way through December to keep Celtic in the hunt for the title with a big three weeks to negotiate before the next match at home to Hibs.
Tom Rogic looked like he was playing on a different pitch to everyone else today… lovely footballer

The Australian wasn’t on the scoresheet but was instrumental in Celtic’s win, putting in a classy performance, lasting 90 minutes on a pitch that looked like a throwback to the bad old days.
His outside of the foot pass for Liel Abada’s second goal was a thing of beauty, a heavily disguised outside of the boot pass that opened the Saint Johnstone defence with one touch from the converted winger putting Celtic 2-0 in front.
Saint Johnstone pulled a goal back midway through the second half but an 80th minute strike for Nir Bitton allowed Celtic to sign off with full points.
