Full points were very welcome at Tynecastle last night, both goals were celebrated as was the debut of Matt O’Riley.
Another very welcome sight was Callum McGregor being in among the Celtic backroom staff and substitutes.
Since Saturday’s clash with Alloa the extent of the injury to the Celtic skipper has been the subject of much speculation.
Ange Postecoglou stressed at his Tuesday’s media conference that it wasn’t just about football, no timeline has been put on McGregor’s recovery and return to action.
Hard to tell how much damage has been done to Callum , but I’ll take it as a positive that he is there with his team mates ? pic.twitter.com/d64iaNHz1B

Before the kick-off last night a picture emerged of McGregor at Tynecastle. Clearly it is encouraging that he was able to travel with his team-mates to a vital match but the damage under his left eye was visible.
In 2019 Ryan Christie’s face was bruised and swollen after he suffered a broken cheekbone in a clash with Aberdeen’s Dom Ball at Hampden, again in a Scottish Cup tie.
The next steps aren’t known, hopefully Celtic social media is soon sharing images or a video clip of McGregor back in training.
