The singing contest at Fir Park on Sunday was as one-sided as the action on the pitch- Celtic recorded a walkover.Â
Even with a section of the South Stand closed the away support were full of sound before during and after the match as they roared the league leaders on to another vital victory.Â
It was tough viewing for the home fans as they watched their guests stream forward at every opportunity, swarming around Liam Kelly’s goal with four goals conceded. For one Motherwell fan the frustration got too much to bear.Â
Some fan behaviour is just unacceptable.
This video from the Motherwell end isn’t an easy watch but I think it shows just how shocking some of their fans behave.
You have ask where are the police when this is going on? https://t.co/oobl9zpRlC— Celticunderground (@celticrumours) February 8, 2022
Despite being crammed into one stand it seemed like Celtic had 50% of the fans inside Fir Park.Â
It took until the 28th minute for the opening goal but following Liel Abada’s opener Tom Rogic added a double to put the result beyond Motherwell.Â
Celtic fans will again be in the minority tomorrow night at Aberdeen but as ever Ange Postecoglou’s side won’t be short of vocal backing.Â
If you find that offensive, either get out more or take up being a hermit
