His team got pumped- Sutton taunts McCoist live on air

Chris Sutton wasn’t backing down from the euphoria of Celtic’s win in the Glasgow Derby as he went head to head with Ally McCoist on Scottish Football Extra, tonight on BT Sport. 

It has been just over two years since the former Hoops striker celebrated a derby success, last season he took it on the chin as his former team-mate Neil Lennon led Celtic to disaster after disaster. 

Celtic started Wednesday’s match on fire, dominated throughout, leaving their opponents on the ropes in search of any lifeline. Sutton took a similar approach to his telly appearance with McCoist.

His team got pumped, absolutely blown away by Celtic, Celtic back on top 

Sutton and McCoist were both in agreement about the impact of Ange Postecoglou with nine of the side that started on Wednesday signed by the Australian. 

There are 14 hurdkes still to go in the title race including two more Glasgow derbies. Sutton landed his jabs tonight, he’s now looking to Postecoglou’s squad to deliver some killer blows to bring the SPFL title back to Celtic Park.
