For reasons that only he will know, late last night Kenny Macintyre started tweeting some bizarre clips from past shows on Radio Scotland.
Succulent Tam English and Michael Stewart appeared in one with Macintyre admitting that his Monday night show has been binned as reduced licence fee funding finally impacts on the budget of BBC Scotland Sport.
Since the final whistle blew at Tannadice on Sunday Macintyre has been in a tired and emotional state with his broadcasting chum Graham Spiers highlighting his concerns.
Watching his club drop two points in the SPFL title race saw the BBC presenter go into a full Follow Follow meltdown demanding full-time referees, VAR and post match interviews with match officials.
Macintyre likes to present himself as the hard hitting reporter that puts managers in the spot with the questions others won’t ask- unless he is in the company of his EBT heroes when he turns into a pussycat asking for details about what a great dressing room they shared and how utterly, utterly wonderful it was to work under Sir Walter/ wee Dickie or Big Alex.

Good while it lasted.
Rattled a few cages.
Will dig out a few more.

Rangers are my team, never hidden that. Be strange to have someone working on Sportsound that didn’t support a team.
As for Kris Boyd. I know at times he is a wind up merchant, but he talks up our game. Would he be in the Sky studio tonight if he wasn’t such a big personality?
