Karamoko Dembele could be in contention for a place in the Celtic squad to face Bodo Glimt tomorrow night.

The teenager played his first game of the season on Sunday when he helped Celtic’s B team to a 4-0 victory over Cale of Leithen.

Ninety minutes of the plastic pitch at Airdrie hasn’t taken any toll with Karamoko spotted in the training video clip released by Celtic today.

With Mikey Johnston facing another spell on the sidelines Age Postecoglou is short on options for the wide positions.

Liel Abada and Jota look like the first picks but beyond that James Forrest is the only winger in the squad.

Reo Hatate was billed as a left-sided option before he joined Celtic last month but appears to have nailed down a place in midfield with his early appearances for the club.

Eleven substitutes can be named in UEFA matches with Kyogo Furuhashi and David Turnbull out of contention.

I didn’t think he was named in the squad.

Editor: You can play any homegrown player, Stephen Welsh wasn’t listed in A squad with UEFA.

Didn’t know that. That mean in theory we can have an unlimited squad size for European games?

Editor: Yes, anyone playing in B team in Lowland League can be added, Doak is another example.
