Ryan Porteous is the latest selection issue for Shaun Maloney to deal with before tomorrow’s match against Celtic.

Eight first team squad members are out injured with Ewan Henderson unable to feature against the club that he is on loan from.

There has been a number of rumours on social media about Porteous over the last few days, now that he has been arrested and charged Maloney must decide whether the defender is in the right physical condition and state of mind to face the SPFL league leaders.

Paul Hanlon, Paul McGinn, Joe Newell, Demetri Mitchell, Harry Clarke, Kyle Magennis,  James Scott and Elias Melkersen are missing for a variety of reasons.

Celtic will be without Kyogo Furuhashi and David Turnbull but will have Yosuk Guchi available again after being left out of the Europa Conference squad.

With the Easter Road clash kicking off at 12 noon an away win will put Celtic six points clear at the top of the table, when the two sides met last month in Glasgow Ange Postecoglou’s side were six points behind in second place.

Last month Hibs sold Martin Boyle to Saudi side Al-Faisaly.
