Juve FC has delivered a devastating verdict on Aaron Ramsey as the midfielder starts a four month loan spell at Ibrox.

Throughout Monday there were scenes of joy as Ibrox fans had their superiority complex nurtured with a giant name coming to the club that has just dropped points to Aberdeen and Ross County.

Some steel in defence, perhaps like John Souttar, or a young goalkeeper might have had a more immediate impact on the team but in the spirit of Nicky Kranjcar and Joey Barton the club opted for a name rather than substance.

Ramsey hit a purple patch at Arsenal during the 2018/19 season but with the Mesut Ozil experience haunting the club they decided against offering a ‘break the bank’ offer to the midfielder.

Juventus jumped in, agreed a four year deal paying around £400,000 a week and have regretted the move almost from day one.

Popluar fan site Juve FC with over 120,000 followers on Twitter didn’t mess about with their verdict on Ramsey:

On his day, the Welshman is one of the finest midfielders in Europe, but those days were almost non-existent at Juventus.

He laboured to adapt to the demands of several Bianconeri managers and it seems he is not meant for Italian football.

A return to the Premier League would have been great for him, but he didn’t get an offer that excites him from the competition.

According to Soccerway, Ramsey has played 97 minutes across three matches in Serie A this season. Last season he managed 1093 minutes over 22 matches- an average of 49 minutes per appearance.

Let’s be honest we don’t know what Ramsey has got left in the tank as a player. He has had injury problems in the past but he is also a very good player.
Will he be able to adapt to the physicality of the Scottish game, well that’s another matter.
We’ve all seen plenty of players come here and fail to adapt: Berkovic, Juninho, Barton, Senderos, Duffy.

He seems to be out a lot with fitness levels and injuries after he left arsenal is he not confident that he could get first team football back in England.
