Mark Wilson summed up the feelings of many Celtic fan as he assessed Sunday’s draw away to Hibs.Â
Just like in the goal-less draw away to St Mirren before Christmas the hoops never really looked like scoring. There was no bombardment or siege of the Hibs goal as the second half minutes ticked away.Â
Since taking a 2-0 lead in at half-time against Aberdeen there has been an edge missing from Celtic’s play. Although it was a 4-0 victory against Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup it was a laboured performance with two 3-2 SPL wins thrown in around the defeats from Bodo Glimt.Â
After Wednesday’s match against St Mirren there are no more midweek games till after the split. With a three point advantage and six of the 10 remaining SPFL games at Celtic Park the title is very much in Celtic’s hands.Â

To be honest there weren’t many performers yesterday, pretty flat, the zip has gone for the minute from Celtic. They were pretty toothless in front of goal, and that will be a concern for Ange Postecoglou.Â
Looking later in the afternoon at Ibrox he added:Â
That was quite extraordinary. At half-time in the Rangers game, I don’t think that even the hardest Motherwell fan would have seen that coming. Credit to Graham Alexander, he recognised his team played poorly, made three substitutions and it made a difference.Â
Rangers, when it went to 2-1, again, the same as Ange Postecoglou, you thought that Giovanni van Bronckhorst, time was there to change things, he didn’t and they were punished.Â
An honest opinion about the game and not OTT about.
