BBC Scotland’s love-in with ‘Rangers’ reached a new low tonight as they shared a tweet of 150 years in 150 seconds.

Spreading the lie, denying liquidation in 2012 has been a theme of the state broadcaster as they realise the role that they played leading to the administration and liquidation of the club in 2012.

Years of fawning, unquestioning coverage of Dave Murray finally came home to roost in June 2012 when Her Majesty rejected a CVA presented by Charles Green.

Subtitling those events the BBC tweet shamefully mentioned ‘Rangers financial problems result in a place in the Third Division’. After 276 creditors were denied any sort of pay-out, including a face-painter owed £40, the club was put into liquidation.

As most football fans know, certainly those of Hearts, Dundee, Motherwell and Livingston who all obtained CVA’s Rangers died in 2012.

A new club formed by Charles Green applied to join the SPL but were rejected. Next they applied to join the Scottish League in their top tier, this too was rejected before the Tribute Act was shoe-horned into the Third Division.

Tom English, Kenny Macintyre, Alasdair Lamont and Steven Thompson are on the payroll of the state broadcaster.
