After Celtic confirmed that they will be playing a Glasgow Derby in Sydney this year tickets have gone on sale through Ticketek.

Celtic have billed the trip as Ange’s Homecoming Tour with the detail now emerging of matches on November 17 and 20.

Ordinary ticket prices range from $39-179 Australian dollars with separate sections for Celtic and Rangers and also for Celtic Active and Rangers Active.

The remainder of the stadium seems open for anyone to buy tickets just like any event at the Accom Stadium. One section will be alcohol free which presumably means that alcohol will be available to buy inside the other areas of the stadium.

Since 1981 fans attending matches in Scotland have been banned from taking alcohol into stadiums with no alcohol permitted inside stadiums.

With both Glasgow clubs playing matches against local opponents ahead of the Derby match it is expected that fans will be in Sydney for a few days to take in the matches.

At this stage segregation inside the stadium seems fairly relaxed, anyone can buy tickets for most parts of the stadium. In Scotland the fixtures are heavily segregated, no more than 800 away fans have attended an SPFL match since 2018. Matches at Hampden have a 50-50 ticket split with strict segregation in place around the stadium footprint to keep fans apart.
