Kenny Macintyre has revived his ‘hard-watch’ car crash interview with Ange Postecoglou following a tweet from Graham Spiers.
The BBC Scotland reporter was less than impressed with Celtic’s 2-0 win over St Mirren last week which retained the hoops lead at the top of the SPFL Premiership and nudged the goal difference up by one.
Postecoglou was on top of the issue straight away as he taunted Macintyre about why he thought that the match had been a hard watch, at the end of January the BBC reporter had tweeted his support for all matters Ibrox.
The post match interview was broadcast live on Radio Scotland then show on Sportscene with Celtic fans delighted by the way that their manager had responded to the disdain of the reporter.
On Sunday the BBC had others covering Celtic’s win away to Livingston but as one of their leading lights Macintyre will soon be back on the Postecoglou beat with hoops fand eagerly listening in for any slips ups in the professional standards of the BBC.
I genuinely really enjoy @BBCSportsound when my pal @kennymacsport is in charge: always punchy and lively. A really good listen. And Rory Loy is thoroughly engaging too.

I’m being very careful not to say it’s a dreadful game. Don’t think that’s allowed……

Comes with the job……if you do it properly.

You should try it then

Need to listen your “interview” again. Hardly proper journalism, but then that job title can certainly be applied loosely.

Rangers are my team, never hidden that. Be strange to have someone working on Sportsound that didn’t support a team.
As for Kris Boyd. I know at times he is a wind up merchant, but he talks up our game. Would he be in the Sky studio tonight if he wasn’t such a big personality?
