Hurting BBC Scotland rewrite last night’s SPFL scorelines

BBC Scotland seem incapable of getting the most basic facts right.

Facts like scorelines and league tables not the fantasy FACTS! That they’ll be reading about elsewhere on the internet.

On Sunday following Celtic’s 0-0 draw at Hibs an over-excited reporter at the state broadcaster was revealing that a home win over Motherwell would take Giovanni van Bonckhorst’s side into top place. Last week’s Champions of Europe might be good but they can’t overturn a four point gap in 90 minutes.

Last night’s coverage followed a similar theme.

With Kenny Macintyre unable to disguise his hurt over Celtic’s 2-0 win over St Mirren a report on the match led with Ange Postecoglou explaining that the result from St Johnstone made no difference to him.

Someone at the BBC did decide to make a difference, perhaps a budding Macintyre, Tom English or a young Alasdair Lamont. With some creative keyboard skills a 1-0 win for the visitors to St Johnstone was transformed to a 2-0 victory. CLICK HERE to go to the ‘typing’ error.

You couldn’t make it up- unless you work for the state broadcaster with an eye on the promotion ladder.

Sky only care about the filth and the rest of Scotland can get tae.
We need to scrap the idea of a TV deal and get our own setup going. I’m not giving the scum any help though any avenue.
