Celtic fans weren’t celebrating the leaked news that they have been handed 700 tickets for the match at Ibrox on April 3.
Crucial in the reporting is the word handed. It wasn’t agreed, the next move is up to Celtic, do they meekly accept what they are given or return them due to security and segregation concerns?
Reducing the away allocations to just 800 has been reluctantly accepted by most Celtic fans but there was a game-changer at the start of February with home fans only watching Ange Postecoglou’s side go to town on the Tribute Act.
Not having a corner of poison in the stadium ensured that all of the vocal backing was directed onto the pitch with the players responding in fantastic style.
That night won’t ever be replicated but having had a taste of 100% home fans it seems a more pleasant arrangement that having a token 700 or 800 away fans heavily segregated in a corner.
Should Celtic return the 700 tickets to Ibrox?
Yes, way beyond a joke. 100% home fans going forward
No, take the tickets and continue talks with O** F*** friends
?I understand that Celtic are now in possession of 700 tickets for the upcoming Old Firm at Ibrox. There has been no indication that the tickets will be returned so there’s an expectation away fans WILL attend remaining league games.?

I’d hand them back and keep as it is. Sevco wanted their stadium for their own fans let them keep it. I much preferred not having the zombie crew at Celtic park last time out it was way better and with no segregation more of us got on it.

Celtic also had possession of tickets for the first fixture and how many attended?

Rangers have killed another Glasgow Derby. First the old firm and now this one too. They need get over the hammerings we gave them and get the full allocation in.

Is that like the Daily Record ‘understands’ ?
…. Which translates into “here’s some shite we’ve just made up.”

Celtic fans will not be at Ibrox and as a Celtic supporter….I’m delighted. We will duly return the serve in 3/4 weeks time. Irony is you couldn’t stand us celebrating under Rodgers then you started winning but your allocation damage has been done.

Why do you understand that? Have you seen them? Paid the paywall to read the Herald article? Or someone from any of the clubs has made a statement ? I need clarification of your understanding. Thx

Shocking move from newco again breaking the rules of football for away fans keeping 95% of the gate money don’t worry what goes around will come around to bite yous in the you know what me I won’t be buying a ticket for that dump
Give the cheating bastards there tickets back they started it so celtic will finish it let them die again celtic yous won this league and sevco sinks like oldco.bye bye scumbags
Personally, I’d return them. Keep the same status quo for the rest of the season. Starting next season, both clubs should allow full allocation as it was before they spat the dummy out.
HAIL HAIL
KEEP THE FAITH??
Totally agree AllaboutCeltic.
COYBIG!
Return them unsold. When we’ve sealed the title & therefore the CL riches for next season they will be on the cusp of bankruptcy. Let 3.0 return the allocation to pre-huff levels. Or not. I’d be happiest if they never set foot in CP ever again.
Sorry, but we have to take them. 700 Tim’s are better than none, especially since the tribute act will take their 700 from Celtic whether we take them or not. It’s the rule, that’s why the huns have offered us 700. We’ll have to offer them the 700 too, we have no option.
