Karamoko Dembele has given his backing to a Glasgow based charity aimed at developing and supporting footballers from ethnic minorities in Scotland.
As their website announces Scoutable United FC shouldn’t have to exist but in 2022 there remains many barriers preventing kids from playing the game.
Karamoko is the exception to that but the pathway for a kid recognised as highly gifted from his first days at school contracts strongly with others who just want to enjoy an organised game of football, comfortable in the company of their friends and team-mates.
We would like to thank Celtic FC winger Karamoko Dembele for coming down to see the talent and giving a talk to the lads.? pic.twitter.com/jAKK1tdP4G

The Celtic teenager certainly has a rich footballing bloodline, representing Scotland and England at youth levels and now attracting the attention of the Ivory Coast looking to give him a route into full international football.
Three years on from his Celtic first team debut Karamoko is still waiting to start his first top team match, with his contract expiring next summer there is speculation that he could be playing elsewhere next season.
