Fifer who doesn’t know the history shocks Bradley Walsh

Margo from Fife clearly doesn’t know the history as she demonstrated to viewers of The Chase. 

The popular quiz show is hosted by Bradley Walsh who has been known to have a little affinity to the first British team to win the European Cup. 

Almost all Celtic fans can name the famous Starting XI for the European Cup Final against Inter Milan in 1967 although that level of knowledge wasn’t required for last night’s show.

With £1,000 available per question in the General Knowledge stage of the show Margo was asked which British club was first to win the European Cup with the year, 1967, dropped in as a helpful hint. 

Manchester United was the costly reply. In the follow up Margo said that she wasn’t a football fan, she must have led a very sheltered life if she had never heard Celtic linked with winning the European Cup with the year of 1967 having only one meaning to a large section of the Scottish population.
