The Daily Record has outed Jim White as a Rangers fan.
Throughout his broadcasting career the former Hyndland Secondary School pupil has been at pains to deny any allegiance to a club from Glasgow.
Other presenters on TalkSPORT are happy and open about the club that they support but White likes to deflect away claims that he is a wide-eyed Ibrox fan-boy that worships Anything and Everything that comes out of Ibrox.
This morning his radio show discussed the fall out from the collapse of the Sydney Super Cup with the Daily Record reporting:
Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan, co-hosting with Rangers fan Jim White, said: “There’s zero benefit to the Scottish league for this particular game – the only benefit was to Celtic and Rangers – so the other teams can be relieved they won’t get another £4 million each.
“Which fans are the most valued? Ones around the world who watch games remotely or ones who watch on a regular basis?
White worked for STV during the Souness Revolution before joining Sky Sports in 1998 when they took up exclusive coverage of the newly launched SPL.
