With more than a year left on his Celtic contract Boli Bolingoli appears to be training solo in Belgium.Â
The defender was part of Peter Lawwell’s disastrous 2019 transfer intake that included Vakoun Bayo, Marian Shved and Hatem Abd Elhamed alongside projects such as Andrew Gutman, Manny Perez, Luca Connell and Jonathan Afolabi.Â
Towards the end of February Russian side Ufa announced that they had signed Bolingoli on loan but with Ukraine invaded a few days later he never played a game and returned to Scotland.Â

His current status isn’t quite known but after coming in from the cold to play at Livingston and Motherwell earlier in the season he does have something that appeals to Ange Postecoglou.Â
Liam Scales and Josip Juranovic seem to be the back-up options to Greg Taylor but on Sunday at Hampden neither were available with Tony Raston playing extra-time at left-back.Â

Lawwell retiring is still one of the best things that’s happened to Celtic this season, regardless of what our useless board think.
Fancied himself as a DOF. What a clown.
Editor: He is still lurking around, he groomed Nicholson whose main quality is that he isn’t Lawwell.
