BBC Scotland go the extra miles with Ibrox feel good stories

BBC Scotland don’t hold back when it comes to inventing good news stories from Ibrox.

Commercial publishers know their market and come up with stories to appeal to their readers but with no such restrictions the sports team at BBC Scotland simply wade in to the good news coming out of Ibrox.

It seems that the search for the new manager of Hibs isn’t much of a story, the owners of Hibs and Aberdeen both gave interviews yesterday but the big deal for BBC Scotland gossip is that the Daily Record has picked up a story from Portugal linking Antony Alves with Ibrox.

If you don’t know who Alves is he is the Brazilian ace starring for Arouca who won promotion to the top flight this season.

Slightly contradicting that scoop the BBC also reveal in a different story that the Ibrox club have advertised for a ‘transfer specialist’.

He’ll need to be some specialist to bring in players based on the money spent during the last three windows. Perhaps the BBC could follow up on the progress of £37m starlet Amad Diallo whose career went downhill rapidly after scoring on his debut away to Ross County.

Top tip- late April is a bit late to begin transfer preparations for the summer window.

The second feel good story relates to an English Championship goalkeeper likely to join Spurs when his contract expires rather than move to Ibrox (as he has been linked).

On the subject of contracts there doesn’t seem to be much gossip over new deals for Scott Arfield, Steve Davis, Allan McGregor, Leon Balogun or Connor Goldson. Never mind Alves is apparently as good as Diallo.

Lol here we go with the klans friends at the BBC playing Transfer Bingo, you would never know season books are to be renewed.
I see all things are quiet on the King situation maybe the calm before the storm eh.
Apparently he is waiting for one bad result be that in Europe or the league and Jackass Jackson and Itchy Sack Chris Jack are to be let loose again by a severe attack on the board.
On the transfer specialist surely that makes Jockey Wilson’s job redundant.

If you actually “look under the bonnet” yer man is on loan to Arouca from the Brazilian team Joinville .. He is 20 .. Brazilian with no international caps .. 17 games but only 4 starts and with 2 goals .. wow he is gonna be a worldbeater and no mistake.
I am filming their next match on friday so lets see if he plays or does anything of note.

Editor: Don’t let the facts get in the way of a good news story. I think he will be more Diallo than Jarzinho.

It’s a squirrel story and if it was to go ahead it would be a freebie that’s all they can afford.
Apparently they wanted Ramsay from Juventus for a freebie and to sell on to an EPL club, lol who in their right mind would give a player away for nothing one day only for the next day for them to sell him, that’s what the THICKOS had been spewing on FF.

Well it’s feckin freezin here in Vizela (North of Portugal) and yer man is on the bench.. So let’s see if he makes it in the second half??! This is a relegation scrap with both teams needing the points

Editor: Yer man? You mean highly rated Brazilian starlet.

Half time.. Vizela 1 Arouca 0… So far yer fella is still getting splinters on his arse… Our old friend Kouassi was playing for Arouca but not made the bench for this match.
