Moussa Dembele forged his Celtic career on the back of scoring goals in the Glasgow derby- at Celtic Park, Hampden and Ibrox.

It is almost four years since the Frenchman was dominating the fixture, leaving a variety of Ibrox defenders quaking as he pulled out his best performances in the fixture.

Yesterday he watched and admired from afar then delivered his verdict to the thousands of Celtic fans that follow him on Twitter.

A couple of his old team-mates were involved in Celtic’s seventh minute equalised with Tom Rogic netting after a searing run by Callum McGregor into the opposition penalty box.

Defender Cameron Carter-Vickers was ultimately the match-winner, pouncing on a half chance eight yards from goal with the poise and precision that any striker would be proud of.

Dembele spent two years at Celtic, was transferred away almost four years ago but clearly the passions for his old club and one special fixture still burns very strongly.
