It is the song that you are unlikely to escape from over the coming weeks and months. 

Yesterday at Ibrox there were only 700 visiting fans but they certainly made themselves heard as they watched Celtic take a significant step towards regaining the SPFL title. 

Back in 1972 The Carpenters were On Top of the World, at Ibrox and other venues across Scotland the Celtic adaption is likely to dominate the spring and summer months.

In less than nine months Ange Postecoglou has overhauled Celtic and returned Scottish football to where it was before Lockdown. 

The freaky circumstances of a season played behind closed doors without any fans is quickly being erased with the bond between manager and fans a key element in Celtic’s success so far this season. 

With a six point lead and six matches left to be played the fans are counting down to a title party but you won’t catch Postecoglou or anyone at Celtic looking beyond Saturday and the points on offer against St Johnstone.
