It was just like the golden days of autumn as Kyogo Furuhashi and Jota shared the scoresheet as Celtic ran up a significant victory.

Four months on from his last goals, a double in the League Cup Final against Hibs in front of 25,000 Celtic fans at Hampden the Japanese striker was back on the scoresheet. Fittingly it was Jota that supplied the assist, crossing with purpose from his new position on the right flank.

There was around 10% of that number of Celtic fans inside Victoria Park in Dingwall yesterday but thousands more welcomed it as they watched on from afar.

Last week at Hampden, coming off the bench, Kyogo didn’t look his real self, the spark and sharpness wasn’t quite there.

Yesterday the movement was back, the finishing touch wasn’t quite there but the striker that lit up the early stages of the season was almost back on form.

With the finishing line in sight Celtic fans can look forward to the double whammy of Kyogo and Giorgos Gakoumakis being on call for Sunday’s Glasgow Derby and the chance of going nine points clear with three matches left to play.
