Ange Postecoglou was non-committal about signing a bumper new Celtic contract.
Fraser Wilson of the Daily Record broke that exclusive last night but with little track record on revealing Celtic news it seems that a new contract for the manager isn’t about to be revealed.
Over the summer months a new improved deal could be signed but nothing is imminent with the former Yokohama Marinos boss on the standard 12 month rolling deal that Celtic have for managers.
In May 2017 Brendan Rodgers signed a four year contract but left for Leicester City less than halfway through that deal with Celtic picking up substantial compensation.
Ange is happy at Celtic. He’s part of something special here. Not thinking too much about a new contract. @HereCelts pic.twitter.com/Hgnt0m8J4y

Postecoglou seems very happy with the conditions that he finds himself in, with £30m plus coming Celtic’s way from reaching the group stage of the Champions League his contract will almost certainly have contained a hefty incentive to hit that target.
With an SPFL Premiership title and League Cup picked up in his first season the former Australian national boss has certainly delivered more than most fans anticipated when his appointment was confirmed.
