Ally McCoist put on his serious face as he warned Ibrox fans that they will need to behave in Seville, the usual Scottish levels of tolerance towards hatred won’t be applied by the Spanish authorities.
Last year’s scenes in and around George Square were a marker over what can be expected over the next couple of days with media personality McCoist well aware of what the Ibrox support is capable of.
Last night Chris Sutton joined Richard Gough and Graeme Souness in warning the fans what they can expect in Seville with the former Celtic striker noting that his BT Sport mate was reading from a very familiar script.
Ally clearly saw my video last night… it’s nearly word for word… https://t.co/qfrzjESVhc

Around 50,000 Ibrox fans are expected in Seville, visiting a city with a mix of German and Spaniards with temperatures in the high thirties could be described as the perfect storm.
Phrases such as ‘small/tony minority’, ‘Chelsea fans’, ‘heavy handed policing’ ‘inadequate organisation’ and ‘elderly/disabled/pregnant fans’ are expected to get heavy use over the next 48 hours.
