Watch as the Bride and Groom have a toast to Ange Postecoglou!

Over the last week there has been plenty of glasses raised and drinks toasted to Ange Postecoglou. 

Explaining to an Australian audience how Celtic fans back their team the hoops boss has said that following the team is a way of life to supporters. Sometimes it can seem more than that.

Getting married is a major life event but whatever the circumstances thoughts of a certain team are never far away.

A year ago Postecoglou was barely known to any Celtic fan that didn’t have an Australian connection, since his arrival his approach and attitude has been taken to heart. 

After eight months of Neil Lennon refusing to accept any responsibility for a disastrous run of results Postecoglou has been a welcome replacement, speaking with honesty and matching his media duties with performances on the park. 

All that is missing so far is a wave of children being named Ange, school-rolls in five years time are likely to include a few tributes to Celtic’s first ever Australian boss.
