Her Majesty, UEFA, Liverpool, Government all lobbied as Seville Watergate goes global

Despite throwing away a six point lead to lose the SPFL title to Celtic and being beaten to the Europa League by the 11th best team in Germany there is a bigger issue inside Ibrox. 

Rather than look at the multiple failings of Giovanni van Bronckhorst or a fast decaying squad it seems that Watergate is providing a fresh focus for their anger. 

The lack of water bottles in the Ramon Sanchez Pisswan Stadium is providing an overpowering deflection tool with three statements and top level meetings with UEFA, Liverpool and of course Her Majesty’s Government. In 2012 the old club was far from keen on dialogue with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. 

I’d love to be a fly on the wall at these meetings, Liverpool complain that fans were tear gassed whilst Rangers complain that fans were ‘forced’ to drink out of toilets because no one told them Spain was a hot country and they should stay hydrated ???

Despite the flood of wailing on social media there hasn’t been a single video clip of the Elderly & Disabled Loyal inside the stadium. 

There has been plenty of tales about dehydration with Cat Shearer and Andrew Dickson sharing their personal horror stories but 13 days after Aaron Ramsey’s penalty not a single video clip has surfaced. 

It has also been suggested that the steward in the stadium only spoke SPANISH!
