The champagne was flowing in the away dressing room at Tannadice tonight.

A brand new set of players brought together over the course of the season surged to the SPFL title, clinched with a 1-1 draw away to Dundee United with a game to spare.

For the first time in more than a decade Scott Brown was absent from the celebrations but the new skipper, Callum McGregor was up for the task on and off the pitch.

Leading it all in his unique management style, a mix of passion and total self belief, Ange Postecoglou has lifted Celtic off the floor with real excitement and anticipation about the way the team is developing.

Three imports from the J-League have accompanied the Yokohama Marinos boss with everything about Celtic transformed from the side that limped towards the finishing line 12 months ago.

On Saturday 60,000 fans will welcome the champions home when they take on Motherwell with a very well deserved trophy presentation and lap of honour to come after the final whistle.

Ange it’s almost as if you were sent from God concidering the total mess we were in you come in on your tod and it’s almost as if you used a magic wand and at the end of the day you walk away with two trophys it is just unbelievable what you have done in such a short period of time and I am really looking forward to next season and especially Europe as am really excited about that thanks in advance Ange.

Well done Ange and the bhoys. Having followed Ange from his first title at South Melbourne I never doubted he would win the league within 2 seasons.
Now for the champions league. Going to need a mobile centre half if we are to have a chance. CCV doesn’t have the legs and Star child is too inconsistent.
I am sure Ange will see that and will have noticed the two Saudi Arabians that shut down Australia twice in the world cup qualifiers. Go get them Ange!
