Pubs and businesses in Seville are taking no chances and putting the shutters up next week with more than 50,000 Ibrox fans expected to impose their traditions and culture on the Spanish city.

In 2008 Manchester was caught unaware as around 150,000 lowlifes descended on the city to inflict the worst damage since the Second World War.

Large areas of the city centre were trashed with locals getting up the day after the UEFA Cup Final to be greeted by mountains of broken glass and the stench or urine.

Ibrox fans expecting the locals in Seville to roll out the welcome mat to a variety of Sash Bashes and other extreme shows of hatred are in for a disappointment with many pubs already closing their doors.

In 2003 Seville happily enjoyed an influx of 80,000 Celtic fans with half that number crossing the border from Portugal to back Porto.

Pubs, cafes and restaurants enjoyed record takings but the images from George Square twice last year have provided a marker for Seville business owners.

With Eintracht Frankfurt expected to bring over 50,000 fans to the city and an alcohol ban expected to be imposed it looks like the travelling bears will have to amuse themselves enjoying the Andalucian architecture.

Sounds more like ‘behaviour outwith their own parents’ control’….Scotland’s Shame’s reputation precedes them….heard one Sevco twat state ‘world football will be amazed’…quite so, here’s hoping they do enough damage in the stadium to forfeit the game and disqualify them from Europe for life at least…#prayforSeville

Every watering hole or booze merchant will be undergoing “essential maintenance” when the scum visit. Welp, it’ll be cheaper than the maintenance that would end up being needed if they stayed open and let those vermin in…

  • Derek Duncan says:

Hopefully the scum will batter each other like they normally do .

    • Scud Missile says:

  • Frankie says:

Poor German fans going to be punished because of the vermin coming but who can blame them for shutting and preserving their property.
