Watch as Ange takes the megaphone to speak to fans on The Celtic Way

Ange Postecoglou spoke directly to the thousands of fans that gathered outside Celtic Park to welcome home the SPFL champions.

The Celtic boss has been interviewed multiple times over the last few months but seemed to be very emotional as he looked around the Celtic Way, thronged with supporters celebrating the title win.

It has been a helluva journey since Postecoglou accepted the call, packed up in Japan for Glasgow via a quarantine stay in London assessing the scale of the task he had taken on.

After midnight thousands of fans got the sight that they waited for as the track-suited players and their manager took a bow outside the main door. 

Most of the players switched their phones onto video mode but their manager left his phone aside as he soaked up the raw emotion as fireworks and pyro lit up the sky. 

Over the course of the season Postecoglou has built the squad up from the bare bones that he inherited last summer. 

On the final day of August Jota, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Cameron Carter-Vickers arrived with all three making vital contributions to las night’s success. 

Three of the four January signings have hit the ground running with the masked skipper Callum McGregor leading by example throughout the campaign, on Saturday he will collect the trophy that means more than anything in Scottish football.
