Fabrizio Romano has tweeted that Josip Juranovic is expected to leave Celtic this summer.

The defender has had an outstanding first season under Ange Postecoglou after being signed in August on a £2.5m deal from Legia Warsaw.

A five year contract looked like a long term commitment for club and player but after impressing with Croatia in the recent Nations League matches Juranovic is bound to be attracting attention.

The player has stated how happy he is at Celtic but a move to England could bring the sort of salary rise that enticed Kieran Tierney to Arsenal three years ago.

Tonight Romano tweeted:

Croatian national team right-back Josip Juranovic is expected to leave Celtic FC this summer as many clubs follow him. Juranovic is attracting interest from Premier League clubs too after a great season for club and country.

With 8.8m followers on Twitter, Romano is an international transfer authority.

An offer over £15m would be difficult for Celtic to turn down, despite the players happiness with life at Celtic missing out on a massive pay rise is hard to put out of your mind.

Tony Ralston has proved to be a very capable competitor for Juranovic but if the Croatian is sold right-back is a position that Celtic will need to look at recruiting in.

Do you think there’s gonna be 3 or 4 articles in the papers every day about how we should be asking for £25M + for him ?
